HOW IS IT TREATED?
Curvatures of the spine up to 10' are considered normal, and curvatures above 20' are considered scoliosis. Orthotic use and physical rehabilitation are recommended for curves between 20' and 40'. Curvatures over 40' are treated with surgery.
